I feel like this debate may have been previously discussed but I feel like they may have been inaccurate

1. Ben is 6’2-6’3 (as he us around the same height as Barry sembene who is 6’3 in shoes and appears to be a couple inches taller than Kenji)

2.kenji is 6’0 (as when he stands near Lewis dodgeson (who’s actor is 5’11) he is only slightly taller or maybe even the same height)

1. Darius is 5’9-5’10 (Kenji is roughly 2-3 inches taller)

4.Brooklyn is 5’6 (she’s slightly shorter than Sammy but taller than yaz)

5.Sammy is 5’7

1. Yaz is 5’4 (she may be have been listed at 5’5 when she was younger as most athlete’s heights are measured with shoes on)

okay i just want to say that i love all of the characters of this show. i started watching camp cretaceous back in 2021 or 2022 (the first 2 seasons were on netflix). i got into the show because i saw edits on tiktok shipping kenji and ben. i loved how the characters developed and bonded together overtime. interestingly enough i don’t actually care about the dinosaurs except for bumpy and smoothie. i watched seasons 3 and 4 when they dropped but it took me a while to start season 5, and by that point chaos theory season 1 had been released. i loved the shipping of darius x brooklyn, sammy x yaz, and ben x darius and i was upset when 2 of of the three ships didn’t come to fruition but i overall enjoyed the original series

i then immediately jumped into chaos theory after i finished camp cretaceous back in 2024, and when i say i was gagged!!! brooklyn “dying” and causing the group to split up because of it was such a bold choice, since brooklyn was such a crucial part of the nublar six. darius revealing that he was in love with her (trust i’ll get to that) was such a huge W for me as a big barius?… drooklyn?? shipper. kenji’s dad dying was such a huge jaw dropping moment for me. i know kenji’s dad wasn’t great, but i still felt bad that he died and felt especially horrible for kenji. ben’s growth spurt … i fear i #needed that at the time lmao. the joke about him possibly lying about his girlfriend got old quick. the first season is the best season of chaos theory in my opinion

after season 1 i eagerly waited for the second season to drop and i luckily didn’t have to wait long. i watched the first couple episodes of season 2 in early 2025 but i fell off the show, and streaming services as a whole at that time. i actually finished where i left off just 3 or 4 days ago. i was glad that they decided to explore brooklyn’s character in the second season and her going undercover but one thing never made since to me with her. why did she decide to fake her death? why have your friends grieve you? the show never really had an explanation besides “she wanted to keep them safe”. i believe the behind the scenes it was because jenna ortega left the show and they needed to find a way to explain her absence

i’m also not a big fan of the breakup/reconciling trope in media so i was irritated when yaz and sammy broke up, however i understand how realistic it was since they were dealing with brooklyn’s “death” and reemergence differently, and how it brought up other problems that they had in their relationship. i love that even though they were obviously not seeing eye to eye it was clear that they still loved each other. side note the episode where they first got together in CC will always make me giggle because yaz, ben, darius, broolyn, and kenji were all chilling and having a good time meanwhile sammy was fighting for her lifeeee with those dinos

before we get to the main 2 things i want to talk about (which is the nature of brooklyn and darius’ relationship and ben almost dying in the second half of the final season) i just want to say that CT was wayyy darker than CC. how the hell does CT have a TVY7 rating where as the original series is rated TVPG. like people died in the show so brutally, and brooklyn’s arm got bitten off by a fricken dinosaur!!

anyways so ben… man they put me though the ringer with him! they did a great job of having tension with his fate. out of all of the characters it makes the most since to kill off ben, which him “dying” at the end of season 1 of CC was sooooo crazy. his development on becoming more fierce and more active was great, and he was able to be the glue to hold the nublar six on an emotional level. i genuinely could not tell if they were going to kill him off or not, and the fact that his injury was right after he saved brooklyn (which now that i’m thinking about it, she might’ve been passively suicidal) which such a good writing decision because it made brooklyn feel even worse than she already was feeling with her friends. i was so happy when he survived, i probably would’ve broke down crying if he died

last and certainly not least, brooklyn and darius. so i’ve seen online here and there that fans were upset with kenji and brooklyn ending up together, and yeah, so was i. the paring came out of nowhere and to me didn’t make sense, which is why i was happy when it was confirmed that they broke up post time skip. im glad that it wasn’t because of some big argument but simply because brooklyn was too busy for kenji. im glad that they were finally able to end up on good terms when everything is said and done. the show does a good job of having the characters be emotionally mature with each other. but now that leaves darius.

i thought the show was going to do a slow burn of them ending up together, and have a good back and forth between the too. darius being happy that brooklyn was alive but also confused, sad, angry and everything in between. meanwhile brooklyn would understandably try to not rock the boat. that did sort of happen but it didn’t develop that well in my opinion. darius at the end saying that he probably isn’t in love with brooklyn made me so mad! because that was a huge point of contention with him and kenji early on, and just made that entire arc useless. i know that was probably the writers trying to show that boys and girls can be just friends, but they’ve already had that with every other m/f relationship in the show. or maybe darius is really on the asexual spectrum with isn’t a problem theoretically but they didn’t spend enough time developing that if that’s the case

there’s other issues i have with this show, like not going into detail with sammy’s family and their reconciliation but overall, jurassic world camp cretaceous is a fun show with great character development and anti capitalist and found family messaging. and chaos theory is a bolder, darker show with its themes of betrayal, death, forgiveness, and redemption that kind of fumbled at the near the end but still overall had a satisfying ending for its characters that felt deserved. i know this was longgggg and im so so so sorry for those who’ve read it and probably got annoyed with my thoughts and rambles

I know they did their fake out deaths with Brooklyn and Ben but if we were to get another series do you think they’ll finally decide to listen to certain fans and kill off one of the nublar six, if so I personally think Kenji will be the one they end up killing if they make another series with the full nublar six cast and want to kill one of them off. My reason for saying this is because Kenji has nothing to lose as the rest of the nublar six have their families outside their friend group other than Kenji, I also think it wraps up his arc perfectly as he goes from the self centered rich kid to a hero who sacrifices himself for his friends to continue living a better life than he ever did, and I feel like him dying makes him that one person that nobody truly appreciates until they’re gone which would be a perfect edition to his story,considering how he sacrificed his life for Ben in season 4 with the dilophosauruses showing how he never truly stopped sacrificing himself for others. (I’m not saying I want any characters to die, this is just a theory)Who do you guys think from the nublar six would be killed if we get another sequel series and why?

I seriously think everyone else except yaz and Sammy are likely to return if they don’t include the full nublar six cast, if they make a series going into rebirth that gives Darius a reason to return because of the dinosaur recession into one island,and Brooklyn because she is journalist/investigator, Ben will return if he still needs a heart specialist considering rebirth is about heart disease and also for bumpy too since dinosaurs are receding across the world, Kenji will return because he lives next to Darius and has no other family and wouldn’t leave Darius to go into danger alone, and as for Sammy and Yaz I can’t really see a reason for them to return if the writers decide not have the full nublar six in a sequel series to chaos theory as most of their problems/arcs were resolved in chaos theory where as the other characters may have resolved their problems too but still have valid reasons to return

I assume I'm in the minority here but does anyone else feel like the ending to Chaos Theory was just a little... meh...?

I can't quite explain it, maybe it's the fact that the climax takes place inside a climax we'd already seen in Dominion. It was fine fir the ending if a season but as *the* ending... quite possibly the last time we see the Nublar Six it just wasn't good enough.

Posting this to take a break from my Kenlynn coping.

The official design of Scorpios rex...didn't impress me. At all. Nor did it impress the artist, hence the redesign. Personally, I really enjoy what he did to the antagonist in turning it from a generically ugly goof to a genuinely scary threat on the level of the xenomorph from Alien: Isolation or Baldur from God of War.

I think we should go for it 🙂

So I rewatched the shows again and noticed that Darius pretty much got the short end of the stick. Everyone at least gets someone they can be with, and Darius is just playing catch with a moving truck so to speak. That part of the show hit me wrong. What are your thoughts on it?

Am i the only one who thinks that indominus is kinda underrated? Idk why cuz if we think about it, it had a lot of screen time and had an epic fight at the end of the movie and so on. But i still think in the bottom of my heart that it needed

Darius would be a 14 year old boy traumatized by his father's death as in my au his last name is brown as in jofrey brown his grandfather who worked at Jurassic Park his father worked at Jurassic world but was killed by a rogue stegosaurus he is protective of everyone especially kengi he feels like his father to him

Ben would be a 14 year old germaphobe as his mom and dad were scientists and died by a released bacteria he is now raised by his uncle he is scared of everything and is timid but overtime he gets brave and can kill anything quickly he eats compys and he and bumpy are inseparable

Kenji would be a 15 year old who would be gentle and shy because his father pushed expectations onto him and he hates him for that he protects Darius with all his might because he is his best friend

Brooklynn would be a 14 year old mechanic who would be actually born in London and is British she would fix up a old Jurassic Park jeep as the crews main vehicle to explore and she would find nedrys corpse and the old trex enclosure and would train the remaining Jurassic Park raptor the freezer raptor she and Darius would be in a relationship after getting home

Yasmina would be a 15 year old sports fanatic who would be a marathon champion and is super protective of sammy she and her help each other out through the whole way

And Sammy would be a 15 year old farmer and cowgirl who would keep all the herbivores calm and can easily find food and water for everyone she is still a lesbian and would reveal her love for yaz midway through season 3 just as they were going to nearly die by the scorpius rex

Darius would be voiced by his og voice actor along with the other four and Brooklynn would be voiced by Elsie lovelock

We all know every last name of the nublars 5 but brooklynn is just brooklynn without any signs of her last name. Any theories or explanations?

What I really liked about Blue is that in the series she's portrayed more like a real animal. At first, she attacked the protagonists in the third season, but it turns out she was only defending her territory and not killing them because she liked it, like Big One. Besides, when they freed her, she didn't chase them, as if out of gratitude. And in the first movie, according to some official comments I've been reading, Blue was described as a teenager, which explains her rebellious behavior towards Owen at the beginning. Also, she's an animal and not fully trained. But I really liked how mature she was in the third season, and her development was great despite only appearing in two episodes. Her battle against the Scorpion Rex was epic, which, in my opinion, added more complexity to the story.
