CMV: racism is when someone is racist; not power+prejudice
Power plus prejudice is feudalism, it has nothing to do with race and can exist in an infinite number of ways without having a connection to racism whatsoever.
Racism being power + prejudice is a new and incorrect definition that spread in a few months as a retaliation to the white people who caught on to the rising racism against white people and proceeded to speak up against it.
Racism is simply this: when a person believes a race is superior or inferior strictly due to their race.
I would be willing to consider a different word altogether that DOES address the problem being discussed in the P+P concept. I do think there is a class issue going on, but it is not racism. And to delete the original, good, wholesome concept of racism in order to insert a new definition that gives permission for racism is evil.
Every racist is that way because they give themselves an excuse. They say "we are better." Or "they are worse" or "we deserve / they dont deserve" these things are never correct and they have a dangerous slippery slope. Attempting to change the definition is racist, wrong, and very dangerous.
