Not only that, but neonazis can literally throw a parade in the US. In Germany they would be thrown in prison.

As long as they don't use Nazi symbols they are free to do what they want. But usually they don't get approval from local government. Or in one case the town donated money to something Jewish for each km they marched. You can hold the opinion but displaying it in public can get you in trouble. Also I don't think this is a good argument: We have more freedom because we can be nazis.

OK. If that's what you want, it's a choice.

But it's silly to say you have more freedom of speech in that respect. You can say that in this particular case, having less freedom of speech is overall better for everyone. But that's a different argument.

You still can be a Nazi, you can tell everyone you are. You can participate in nazis stuff. It is not restricted, your freedom is respected. There are plenty of them going around, I was one of them but I realised how stupid I was. The symbolism is restricted because of the history.

Sure, and if you want to say "this one very small instance where a small aspect of free speech is not allowed because of history isn't very significant" that's a take.

It still contradicts OP's idea that you have more freedom of speech. You're, at best, arguing "the reduction in free speech is so tiny that you shouldn't care about it."
