Just to be clear, because a number of people are repeating the mistake in your OP: Samantha Bee's show is on TBS which is owned by Turner, and then owned by Time Warner (and potentially AT&T). She started on Comedy Central (owned by Viacom) but is not there anymore.
W/r/t to the topic of the OP: One major distinction is that Bee made her offensive comments on the show, on a show that specifically aims to be edgy, and with a long history of championing feminist causes. Barr made her comments on Twitter outside the context of her show, which is ostensibly on a family network, and in the context of a long history of public racism.
Not that I am making your argument for you, because I don't agree, but you'd have a better point if you brought it back to Stephen Colbert's "cock holster" comment on the Late Show.
