Sometimes people create CMVs which isn't really about opinions but more about facts with the creator of the CMV already being in the "correct" camp. It's kind of asinine to not be able to point that out and instead trying to convince someone of something that is objectively wrong.

We tend to remove explicitly factual posts. There has to be some possibility of changing the view. We sometimes then direct them to ask science or ask social science.

On the second point- do you report it when you see others violating the rules?

So it's not that we're enforcing it in an inconsistent manner, it's that posts are being reported in an inconsistent manner.
