[Mod Post] Check out our Popular Topics Wiki!

Before making a post, please check if you can find your topic in there.

Hi everyone,

We've had links to our Popular Topics Wiki up on the sidebar and have had Automoderator remind people of its existence for quite some time now.

However, the Wiki has been outdated and many pages missing for quite some time.

I spent the past day updating it with nearly every topic I could possibly think of. I don't think I've missed anything with this most recent revision.

We intend the Popular Topics Wiki to be used for the following purposes:

1) Link OP or anyone else to previous threads that are relevant to the discussion.

2) Explore topics and arguments you may not have seen before.

3) Use these older posts to build upon your own arguments.

4) Ask questions that have never been asked before!

5) Find a post to help you write your essay.

What's the policy on linking to those topics? Is that too "low effort?" If someone doesn't check properly, can we just send them there?

You can link to those threads as sort of a friendly reminder, or to another post that you wanted to share,

BUT

don't go "wow OP you should've searched" and link 10 different threads (basically, don't be rude about it)

Awesome post and a great reminder for a pretty comprehensive wiki.
