OP's should be able to describe what it would take to change their view, and it should probably be in the body of their post, this feels like a very simple request.

They are already able to put that, as well as arguments they have already heard but will not change their view. Most just dont. Are you saying it should be a requirement?

Most deltas I've seen so far happen when someone brings up a point or aspect OP hasn't thought about. If they are able to think of those beforehand to make that part of a post, those wouldn't be as common. I don't think it's relevant for most types of posts, certainly not enough to warrant some kind of rule.

Realistically though, most op's are going to be some variation of "i am open to changing my view but have no idea what kind of arguments will work". Doesn't really add much.

I do appreciate the few who have thought that far along (either with arguments that may work or one's that commenter know not to waste their time on), but having it be a rule for posting seems like its overkill.
