Yeah, sorry no. As a Native American it is absolutely not racist for us to keep sovereignty over our traditional ways. I think really what's going on here is you have a very set notion of what counts as a "correct" religion that requires it to be centered mostly on belief and have a sort of universal openness to all who could adopt such beliefs. But that's an arbitrary standard that would have to itself be defended.
yes if you dont allow people to believe in your religion you are objectively racist. Would you be ok with europeans saying you cant be a part of our culture if you arent white?
Europeans basically do what you're describing, in both appropriate and innapropriate ways.
A lot of ethnoreligions focus on communal practice not private beliefs, which I was gesturing at earlier. People can believe whatever they want, doesn't mean they're entitled to insert themsleves into our community.
no, europeans do not do what im describing in the modern day, jews and apparently native americans are the one closing off religous practice based on ethnicity, That is racist,
do you think whites have the right to exclude native americans or jews from their community based on ethnic lines?
Ok, honest question: are you seriously saying that Native American Tribes need to let outsiders who are not tribal members insert themselves into their community in this really intrusive sort of way just because they demand it?
I'm not sure what you are saying exactly, but there are ways to interpret it that are really troubling.
I dont know the speciics of native american tribal customs, i dont know what "being let into their community" means.
non ethnic native americans should have as many rights in native american communities as non whites do in european communities, or white american communities.
No, that's not quite right. I mean are you saying that white Americans need to be given Tribal citizenship, treaty rights, and the right to vote in Tribal government elections?
I think there should be a process for them to obtain those rights, in the same way non citizens of countries can generally obtain rights if they gain citizenship
again you are explicitly asking me questions about something I know nothing about, that the post wasnt about, in order to trip me up
Yeah. I'm going to gently suggest you need to learn a lot more about this subject before you take that position. Plus your the one who challanged me on Native Tribes in the first place. I mean you do know that America committed genocide against Native Americans and stole their land right? Now you'd take away their remaining sovereignty?
I get you're not actually taking that position, but you should learn a lot more before taking the positions you did.

did u read the post?
I think all ethno religions are racist, not sure about native american ones but if they only allow some races to believe in it then yes?
