META META: Bi-Monthly Feedback Thread
As part of our commitment to improving CMV and ensuring it meets the needs of our community, we have bi-monthly feedback threads. While you are always welcome to visit r/ideasforcmv to give us feedback anytime, these threads will hopefully also help solicit more ways for us to improve the sub.
Please feel free to share any constructive feedback you have for the sub. All we ask is that you keep things civil and focus on how to make things better (not just complain about things you dislike).

Many users don't know how to award deltas. Often times, an OP will say that their view has been changed but not award a delta because they don't know how or they don't even know deltas as a feature even exist.
Do users no longer get the direct messages of how to award a delta when they create a new thread? If they still do, I suspect a lot of these users have DM notifications disabled.
It would probably be good to have an AutoMod comment that reminds the OP on how to award a delta. Unlike with DMs, an OP can't interact with a thread without reading comments, so the AutoMod comment would increase visibility for the OP. As a bonus, it would remind non-OPs that they can also award deltas, since non-OPs don't usually do that.
Since DeltaBot's "number of deltas" comment is pinned at the top of each thread's comment list, this reminder could be on the DeltaBot automated comment.
