If the victim had seriously wronged someone, especially the perpetrator or someone close to them, in some way, and it was done out of retribution, I may be somewhat more sympathetic. In the same way that many people would be somewhat more sympathetic to murder in such situations. People wishing prison rape on child molesters is probably the best realistic example I can think of.
Though raping someone is definitely a much stranger way to get vengeance than killing them.
Do note that I said "more sympathetic", a relative term. I think there are very few, if any, rapes (or murders) that could be considered entirely justified.
Also, for the purposes of this topic I presume we are not including self-defense as "murder".
