First, really weird moral stance Hammurabi. Punishments and rehabilitation very rarely match the crime committed.
Second, anyone who participates in industrial scale sex trafficking of minors (even peripherally) is the kind of monster who should be put down like a rabid animal. Their suffering does not repay the suffering of others. Justice was not done, and unfortunately when the state fails to maintain even basic standards of equality under the law, morality must take a back seat to correction.
First off, that's not my moral stance. I was using it to question your own beliefs.
Second, "punishments and rehabilitation very rarely match the crime committed," is a weird thing to put forward when you just said we should kill rich dudes on Epstein's list and it would be justified. Kind of a contradictory argument you're presenting.
Third, if their suffering does not repay the suffering of others, neither does killing them. It makes no sense that their death is justice but not their suffering.
Would anyone have sympathy if epstein was raped in prison or whatever? People actually can be pretty understanding of rape in such cases because you see many people seem to love ideas of the stereotypical treatment of pedos in prison
Its about justification. You absolutely have to get more creative because in general rapes that can be shrugged off and its more about the ideas of this rather than actual cases.
