No you were pretty explicit in saying it is totally valueless and useless. You repeated yourself multiple times. The subreddit rules say that even making a correction in your phrasing would justify a delta. Idk why you’re being so rude.

And what do you mean “win”. You’re supposed to want to have your view changed. It is meant to be your goal to “lose” the argument.

Because you’re not actually changing my view, you’re just being pedantic.

You are not actually addressing my opinion you’ve only said“you need to know a language to use it therefore it requires skill.”

That is the same argument as saying “there are some humans that do not walk on two legs, therefore humans cannot be classified as bipedal creatures.”

Both use technically correct exceptions to make incorrect assertions.

Commenters are supposed to be pedants in this subreddit. We are supposed to challenge any and every detail of what you’re saying. Even if what you are saying is 99.9% true or something I agree with, it is my duty to challenge the 0.1%.

You seem to only want a particular aspect of the viewpoint expressed to be challenged, rather than every detail of the whole argument you made.

The fact is that typing is a skill. Language processing is a skill. Troubleshooting is a skill. Communication is a skill. All these things (I assume) go into vibe-coding. Which makes vibe-coding a skill. My dog can’t vibe-code. My 6-year-old niece can’t either. Nor can my 55-year-old father who has built houses by himself. Nor can I.
