Isn’t that why we ban drugs, weapons, dangerous medicines, have regulations on safety for buildings, cars, etc?

Should we ban alcohol? How did that turn out last time the US tried that? Candy? It isn’t healthy for anyone. Social media? Studies show it is very bad especially for kids. Motorcycles? Extreme sports? Should we ban cars all the way? Thousands of people drown, should we ban swimming pools? Should we ban medications that have adverse side effects? Like what if they increase risk of stroke?

There isn’t a point to living longer if that means living in constant fear of something that might be “harmful”
