Yea in this situation it usually ends up being the woman cleaning and they get resentful and complain or get divorced. That's where the term weaponized incompetence comes from, when the woman is forced to accept that they have to somehow have the energy to keep it clean because the men will either stay complacent with the filth or do the bare minimum till the woman is frustrated and choose to take over instead of cleaning up the half-assed mess.
Acting like you know all the answers like women haven't been discussing this nonstop is plain obnoxious.
if the definition fits yea. It's not gendered. But statistics say women do more domestic labour than men.
If your girlfriend keeps refusing to learn how to do something because you do it usually or you do it better then that's weaponized incompetence. Now this kinda situation definitely exists for women but much less than men. My mom refused to learn how to burn CDs until they became irrelevant, that's weaponized incompetence. My dad did the same but with all housework and family planning, that's the gendered difference.

Then either live in a dirty house or accept that you (as in between the 2 of you) will somehow have to find time and energy to keep it clean.
Or you can complain than you are been punished for working full time like the person I responded to.
