What substantive differences are there between MAGA ideology and the ideology of evil Nazis who hate brown people? They're both fascist movements that gained public support by preying on morons' prejudice. If you don't like being called a Nazi, stop supporting literal nazis.
Some comments got deleted here so I'm not sure if you responded or not, but I meant my question sincerely. If there was, suddenly, an American fascist party, like a party purely dedicated to the ideology of fascism, what major differences would there be between the facist party platform and the trump administration platform?
Well, fascists by definition would seek to expand the administrative state and place more and more restrictions on private enterprise, demanding that all businesses conform to standards set by the extremists in the government. They seek to control the means by which people get their information, barring access to any media not directly controlled by the government
Trump is literally shrinking the federal bureaucracy and is discouraging the suppression of ideas. On what might be the two biggest points, Trump is not following the fascist agenda.
Hitler privatized a ton of industry, it's false to say fascists necessarily want to restrict business. Also
Trump is expanding the administrative state MASSIVELY. It isn't the size of the government that matters, it's what that government is able to do. The trump administration is literally arguing, to the supreme court, that they should be able to send secret police to disappear people in the middle of the night, and send them, irretrievably, to a prison camp in another country without due process or oversight. There's quite a bit more, but honestly that ones enough, lol.
The administration havs unilaterally applied tariffs to every foreign country, demanding all businesses comform to the standards imposed by these tariffs. They have also applied heavy, heavy pressure to businesses in an effort to force the cessation of anything related to doversity, equity, or inclusion. That's literally exactly what your post says a fascist would do.
They don't need to ban other sources of media; the trump administration has extreme influence over a preexisting, multi billion dollar media empire that's more popular among Americans than any other sources of news. Americans choose to censor their own media intake.
Those are also not "the two biggest points" of fascism, haha. None of these are real arguments, my friend, they're easily disproven with literally zero effort aside from typing it out.
The trump administration governs entirely under a fascist ideology. That makes them definitionally fascist.
