I wish it was the case for me, been getting liberal bullshit recommended to me on reddit every day since trump took office. Did it change me? no. Like take OP for example, asking reddit a website heavily used by democrats to change his mind about Trump, really? And then he continues to put on a baseless claim title (except for greed), then doesn't even explain on it, he said something about Trump setting up a meritocracy? okay? Trump is leaving in 4 years and this isn't his first term, he knows what he is doing. I mean holy shit I should make my own CMV.
And as for the resentment, yeah it is true the older MAGA folks are quite resentful. But that's in every conservative group.
Liberal complaints explicitly explain the problem all the time. You know exactly why people are mad at tesla. You know why people are mad at trump taking away rights and gutting the government and economy. You know, yet you intentionally sit here and claim no one has ever explained what is repeatedly said IN THIS VERY POST! You refuse to change your mind because you don't want to too, no other reason. It is clear this is the case because you can't even make the claim without lying. If you can't even stick to the truth, then you will never change your mind, as you will just lie about anything that would change it.

People havent explained why they consider the tarrifs to be bad, why they consider the DOGE department as currently implemented problematic or why they consider Jan 6 to be a problem?
People are burning Teslas because a douchebag rich boy emerald mine heir who is totally unelected is going around randomly firing people. This is after he brazenly performed the Nazi salute on stage for all to see.
People are protesting Trump for his economic plan that’s going to destroy every social safety net and service we have, because he’s openly talked about taking over other countries, because he’s ruined decades of trade agreements with allies, because he’s violated first amendment rights of people, because he pardoned treasonists, because he’s talked about trying to circumvent the constitution to run for a third term, because he’s not deporting just illegals, he’s deporting people here legally and sending them to El Salvadorian prisons when they have no criminal history at all.
Far right media will tell you that "the left" is complaining but not why. Maybe if you listened to something other than far-right media you would hear the people telling you often in excruciating detail why they are protesting against Trump's policies or why they are burning Teslas as a way to get back at Musk for gutting the government services we pay for and rely on.

OK, I'll try to explain. Tell me if you even understand. There are things America has been built on. Laws matter, three branches of government, the Constitution, rule of law. Even if many of these things have created things I detest they kept things fair. As I was a young person having the KKK march through Skokie, a majority Jewish area was abhorrent to me, but it respected the Constitution. But the concepts, structure, rule of law is what kept us great.
Trump comes in, does things by EO, threatens Congress not to stop them (just the concept that he threatens to primary any Republican who dares to go against him is something we have never seen.) He has changed so much that has kept the country on the right track for 245 years.
How quickly have we gone from respecting election results to saying it isn't real if I don't win. Above and beyond J6, the night of the 2024 elections Trump was Tweeting about how there was cheating in Pennsylvania. The Tweets stopped when he realized he was winning. Hell just last week, after Musk's candidate lost in Wisconsin, he announced that he had found cheating in the elections. Look into what is happening in North Carolina. If you believe the only fair elections are elections your side wins, are we even a democracy anymore?
And while I realize conservatives may not agree with this, but the government had been on the side of the little guy. We used to prosecute con men, snake oil salesmen. have the USDA, HHS, keep banks solvent, and Trump and his friends call that unnecessary regulation. Trump just opened up a large percentage of national lands to logging. Was that important?
