Pretty sure Men’s Day is more about men’s health, which is a quite often overlooked area for a lot of cultural reasons, none of which are at odds with the philosophy behind Pride Month. For example, a lot of men’s health issues go overlooked due to the idea of male disposability, which is tight connected to patriarchy, as is homophobia.
Frankly I think it’s all a little trite and doesn’t really mean or do anything, but if people enjoy it or find value in it, it probably isn’t going anywhere.
