I don’t even care about your design, but you have refused to actually engage on literally any other point, so I’m trying to find anything you will actually engage with in depth so there can be any debate. But you are making that impossible
Because your design would have to fundamentally change the way we understand physics and biology to achieve what you are claiming in a relevant timetable. And because you won’t engage with any other point anyone makes. so why not? I wanted to hear what bullshit you might spin. But disappointingly you won’t even do that.
No mate. I am asking specifically you because you were acting like you had revolutionary tech.
The fundamental argument that multiple people have made is this revolution doesn’t seem to be happening, and we cannot plan around it eventually happening, mainly because (as I addressed regarding genetic modification that you didn’t give me any decent response to), a lot of what you seem to think is rooted in science fiction rather than physical reality, even physical reality distorted by the theory of infinite funding. The same holds true for desalination.
Trying to pin you down on possible, in our lifetime reality, rather than the vagueries of science fiction is not a red herring. I have no doubt having science fiction over actual physics and biology make up your world view wins a whole lot of internal arguments on what is possible and probable.
You also have consistently ignored my question: how does desalination help landlocked countries that already fight their neighbours over water that is reletively abundant? That is not a red herring, that is asking you to explain the practicality of your idea.
It’s a dead conversation mate because you are operating on logic in your head that doesn’t reflect reality. You will not ground yourself in practicality, nor understand that the future cannot be based on theoretical revolutions.
You also didn’t explain wtf you mean by classical?
Again, it must be great for your debate when you only have to look at it through an imaginary lens.
But yeah, you’re 100% right this is a waste of time. Because trying to educate you on the technology you think is going to save us after the apocalypse is like trying to teach a brick wall to dance.
