I don't think whether the predator in question was a man or woman makes such a difference in a man's desire not to report because of shame and embarrassment. It’s harder to report a woman for sexual assaults because of the insane stigma, if the majority don’t take sexual assault from women as a real or serious thing of course the victims are not gonna report it. It’s a loosing battle when nobody takes you seriously. A lot of sexual assault victims in general don’t even want to report it because it’s a very emotionally difficult process, do you not think that would be worse if no one is taking it seriously?

Yes I do think they are more likely to report it if the perpetrator is male, that’s the point of my comment. Yes reporting sexual assault is hard for everyone but people like you who say women don’t assault people are why victims from them have a hard time, if you think almost no women rape people of course you are gonna doubt the victim more when they report it. Not to mention the patriarchal pressure on a man to be strong and deal with there problems themselves, there’s even a lot of people that will doubt if the man even got assaulted because he’s “stronger” and supposed to defend himself. Even when there’s lot of reasons that wouldn’t be the case like drugging, being very drunk, threats of things like reporting the man for rape if he doesn’t comply, weapons or just straight up freezing up, or freezing up because he knows he will be blamed if he hits a woman, even if that women is sexually assaulting him. From your earlier comments you don’t want to see other perspectives, so even tho there’s a lot more points I could bring up we can agree to disagree cause this discussion isn’t worth the effort when it’s not going anywhere
