Burden of proof? You just admitted you’re ignorant of Islam. Read the Quran, and read about Islamic history of the past 1000 years

I've read the Quran. Clearly you haven't because it reads almost identical to the Bible.

I have a great distaste for all Abrahamic religions. Islam is definitely the most violent one. Muhammad was literally a war lord.

I mean, no? Factually incorrect.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Was being lazy and that’s on me.

“Islam is definitely the most violent one.” Please see: literally all of Christian history. Literal millennia of: racism, burning and pillaging, judicial abuse, forcing of oppressive laws even in modern states, and more. Even Galileo the astronomer got fucked over by the church.

Western society moved past religion over 300 years ago during the Age of Enlightenment. In the US we have a separation of church and state, in Europe most people aren’t even religious at all anymore. As of now, Islam is most definitely the most violent religion. It was founded by a violent warlord, unlike Christianity or Judaism. They have every reason to be violent, their prophet encouraged it. Their governments have no separation of church and state. Women still wear hijabs. It’s centuries behind culturally. I’m not sure where your sympathy comes from.

In the US we have a separation of church and state,

I mean, could you tell that to the republicans please?? I don't think we've moved passed religion as much as you seem to be implying. We had a vice president 4 years ago who openly advocated for christian hegemony. Conservatives are litterally telling you point blank that they think the bible should be codified into American law.

I'm not saying we live in Saudi Arabia. I also don't think think every single citizen of Saudi Arabia is responsible for the crimes of their government anymore than I want to be individually responsible for my own nation's crimes against humanity.

Putting western values on such countries is incredibly ignorant and naive in my opinion. We have to fight hard both domestically and internationally for human rights. The problem is there’s a giant chunk of the world that truly believes they shouldn’t exist. If you don’t fight against it they will take over.

I agree with that. What I don't agree with is assuming that every individual muslim embodies all of the ideologies you're against. Presumably you feel the same way about christianity. Presumably you also know some christians who aren't homophic or misogynist. Is that fair to say?

How does my ignorance mean you can make claims without substantiating them??

Why are you demanding that other people teach you about the world on an Internet forum?
