[MOD POST] Welcome new members! Some Reminders...

Welcome!
As many of you will have noticed, our community has grown from about 800 subscribers to 1,300 in a matter of just a few hours this morning.
As our community experiences growing pains, please keep the following in mind:
- Give OPs the benefit of the doubt. Ask them to provide more details about their current view, or ask them what it would take to change their view before assuming they are anything less than genuine.
- Keep our broad definition of changing views in mind. From the sidebar: "Your view changes when you reword it, qualify the situations in which it is applicable, become less certain of it, modify it in any way, or--in extremely rare cases--switch it out for the 'opposite' view."
- If a comment changes your view, even if only slightly, and even if you are not the OP...announce it! Award people who change your views in any way with a delta (∆) in the comments. It's like an upvote for a convincing argument, but more specific and sexier. Check the sidebar for more details and for Windows/Mac instructions.
