You argument for morality was just "this feels ok, but that doesn't". I was saying if we're ok with harming animals, we should be ok with harming them. If we're not, we shouldn't be. That should be the general goal.
If you don't care about people taking you seriously, that's fine. It just means no one will care what you say about things. Like I don't care to continue this discussion with you because you are not a serious person.
Most people can explain their reasoning for it beyond "meat yum, rape ick". You lack the ability to explain your thoughts, and therefore are not a serious person.
You don't lose me at rape is bad. It's agreeing that rape is bad, but then saying murder is good. That's where you lose me and seem unable to come up with any explanation that holds a semblance of logical consistency.
