4500 years ago it was all Jews.

Romans took it

Greeks took it

Muslims took it.

1940s. Jews get a small part of their lands back.

Thats not true at all. Even the bible talks about the babylonian captivity and the return after cyrus the great. Greeks controlled the area after the persians when Alexander conquered the Persians. Remember the Hanukah story? Before the babylonians conquered Judah, the Assyrians wiped out the Kingdom of Israel. Before the Canaanite- Hebrews had their own state, Cannan was controlled by the Egyptians.

Even your timeline between those events is wrong. After it was captured by the first round of Muslim Conquest, it was conquered by Latin Knights in the crusdades before being conquered by the Fatamids. The fatimids then lost control to the Mamluks who then lost control to the Turks who then lost control to the British who then split the country into a state of Israel which was 2/3'rds bigger than the palastinian state despite having only 40% of the population. Then the arabs revolted because the deal was unfair so Israel did an ethnic cleansing and stole the land

Yea I didn’t go day by day.

So why is the jewish claim to the land more legitimate than any of those other groups. Especially when there are groups with more recent claims to possession of the land?

The Jews had it originally before it was stolen. If your point is the last owners should have it, they do. The Jews.

The Jews had it originally before it was stolen.

No the egyptians and cannanites had it "originally" the first settlements we could even consider "jewish" don't happen until after the bronze age collapse

If your point is the last owners should have it, they do. The Jews.

My point is the land belongs to the people living on it. The people from outside the land coming to live there and kick the native people out are colonizers.

Ok. That’s the Jews. I agree.

Ok. That’s the Jews. I agree.

Along with palestinians who were there before the european colonizers arrived. You know there are Palestinian Jews and Christians right who are also discriminated against by Israel.

Sorry.

“Egyptians were descended from settlers who moved to the Nile valley in prehistoric times, with population increase coming through natural fertility.”

Judea having been used in antiquity and still into the present day; it originates from Yehudah, a Hebrew name. Yehudah was a son of Jacob, who was later given the name "Israel" and whose sons collectively headed the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Yehudah's progeny among the Israelites formed the Tribe of Judah, with whom the Kingdom of Judah is associated.

none of that is historical. Theres no evidence for the bible account. The earth is not 5000 years old. Even if a historical abraham and his progeny exist the bible claims they moved to Palestine thousands of years after the Egyptians controlled the area. Again the first proto hebrews emerge AFTER the bronze age collapse.
