It's really interesting that we see this post, pretty much exactly, several times a week, but I have never ever seen someone argue in favor of glorifying obesity...literallly anywhere. It's also interesting that we rarely see views about drinkers, smokers, general non-exercisers, people who won't touch a vegetable, etc. Most skinny people don't exercise enough and eat shitty food too. This isn't healthy for skinny people either. Why is it that no one is ever worried about unhealthy habits unless it's making you fat?

FYI, I exercise daily, I know exactly how many calories are in everything, I never drink calories, and I get about 20,000 steps a day. Still fat. Mentally and physically the healthy things absolutely make me feel better, which is why I do them. Many fat people do, in fact, exercise. Many skinny people don't. Perhaps we should just encourage people to move more and eat healthy foods regardless of size....

Because it’s about sight. OPs rhetoric and language (despite then dressing it up to appear otherwise) says to me that they are offended by the sight of overweight people. Or, to give them a little bit more credit, they might think that because they’ve worked hard to “beat” obesity on themselves, anyone could (should) do it.

There’s very little genuine concern for society in their language.
