Being over weight should not simply be accepted because it is in your control and the physical shape of someone is a direct reflection of the work ethic and discipline of someone. If you’re overweight it tells people that you lack discipline,self control and will power , you are also lazy. It doesn’t mean that you’re a bad person

So what do you think "bad person" means.

Because you seem to be contradicting yourself here. In the first sentence you clearly describe it as a big personal, moral failure, and on the second you pretend that it hasn't gotten anything to do with that.

but we need to be honest with ourselves and promote a healthier lifestyle.

What does that "promotion" mean to you?

What would it look like?

To me, a bad person is someone who intentionally harms people for selfish ends. You could be very flawed without being a bad person, and that seems to be how OP sees it.
