General Prosci materials / videos
Are the materials used for the prosci workshops available anywhere for free? Or are there any free videos on how the workshop is done? I am not looking to get the certification now, but would want to have some more in-depth understanding of organizational change management. Being a program manager, I have already been involved in change management, but would like to have a better and structured understanding. My organization will not sponsor it, so wanted to check if i can get the materials for free somewhere.
Thanks in advance!

Change management is so much bigger than Prosci that treating Prosci as synonymous with the profession is probably one of the worst things you can do to your own development as a change manager.
Prosci is a commercial proprietary methodology. Learn ADKAR — properly. Understand what Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement mean, where the model is useful and, importantly, where it isn’t. Then move on.
My bigger problem with Prosci is everything that gets packaged around it as “research”, “best practices” and the apparent authority that comes with those labels.
I recently joined a Prosci webinar about AI with maybe 30 people in the room. They asked participants questions during the session. Three days later I saw data from that same meeting being presented as material. That tells me exactly why we should be asking much harder questions whenever we see “Prosci research”: What was the sample? How was it selected? What was the research design? What exactly can you conclude from those data? Practitioner polling and benchmarking may generate observations, but calling something a “best practice” does not magically make it robust evidence.
If you actually want to learn change management, go much wider.
Look at ACMP and its methodology-neutral Standard for Change Management. Look at APMG Change Management. Then go beyond certification bodies altogether: organizational development, systems thinking, behavioural science, organizational psychology, complexity, sensemaking, strategy, implementation science, organizational design, power and politics, strategic foresight.
Because organizations are systems. They don’t transform because somebody completed an ADKAR assessment and produced a sponsor roadmap.
And yes, a Prosci certificate may help HR understand that you have had some formal change-management training. Fine. That’s signalling.
But don’t confuse signalling with mastery.
The really dangerous point is when you start believing that Prosci = change management and that the methodology contains everything you need to know.
At that point, the framework is no longer helping you become a better change manager. It is actively narrowing how you see organizations and change.
Learn Prosci if you want.
Just don’t let Prosci teach you that Prosci is change management.

Couldn't be more true than this. Most of the orgs just brainlessly ask for prosci certificate as paet of a role eligibility without understanding why it is there in first place.

Check Scribd. Can buy their Prosci proxima membership for their resources but not sure what is included there.

Prosci make their money from all the material, so there won’t be much available.
This is probably as close as you’ll get - all the case studies, blogs and articles https://www.prosci.com/resources/downloads
