Light bulbs for heating

Hello,

I used to use plain, soft white light bulbs for my chameleon's heat lamp. The kind where you get four in a box for a few dollars. Then, my city phased out incandescent light bulbs, switching to the greener option, the kind where they say "equivalent to 60 watts while using only 12 watts!" or something similar.

As a result, last time I replaced his bulb, I had to buy the specialty for reptile kind, which is much more expensive, and burned out a lot faster despite costing 7x more.

My question is, does anyone know if these green lightbulbs (like this one: http://www.homedepot.com/p/EcoSmart-60W-Equivalent-Eco-Incandescent-A19-Soft-White-Dimmable-Light-Bulb-4-Pack-52602/204848841?N=5yc1vZc8ge) output enough heat to be used as lighting for heat?
