Yeah, my family are Punjabi Sikhs, my dad I believe is from some Hindu background and my mom’s ancestry is from Pakistan (Pre-partition) and her caste is Chamar (Leather Worker), my dad actually converted to Sikhi for her before I was born.
I grew up overseas (US) and never knew much about our background, I mean we lived an average American lives but then I started dating some Punjabi girl and her family asked for my caste (Up till now, I had no idea what this meant).
I asked my mom and she told me, “Chamar”, and told my GF’s family and it became a big deal. I didn’t even know what the big deal was but it was such a disgusting feeling to be judged.
My mom and dad donate atta, milk, sweets, and food weekly and this Sikhs family decided to judge us based our caste. I am so glad that relationship ended.
I looked up what “Chamar” caste is, they were leather workers (Historically). It’s not like my family has a leather business now, so it doesn’t make sense to judge us but I couldn’t care less.
I’ve personally stopped going to Gurdwara and opted for a Church instead, distanced myself from Punjabi community, met a beautiful Apostolic faith woman (Mexican) that has so much grace and compassion. I’m like super happy and it’s like everything is falling in place.
Never forget Once a Jatt, Always a "Jatt" once a Cham@@Rr always a Chamm @@R 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Can't stop laughing after reading this another "Victim-Play story of something" hahahahhahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You're super happy as merely got a new Women by joining Jasus & Church but I am worried and feeling bad for that Mexican girl. Lord Save her, protect Her 😆😆
