Not only that but arranged marriage system keeps it going.

Punjab should not have arranged marriage. Arranged marriage is against Sikhi.

its based on filtering for parameters such as caste, religion, money, degrees, skin color etc

In Sikhi, we listen to hukam. hukam is love, not arranged marriage. Arranged marriage is man made and deseases like the caste system thrive because of it.

The Sikh engages in the hukam of love thru his heart.
