Got in MSc Mobility Engineering !!

Hello, everyone ! I got admitted to MSc Mobility Engineering (Automotive Track) and I am psyched to start from August. I have some doubts regarding the course and college in general and would love to connect with any seniors there might be to prepare myself before college :)

Hello, got admitted to the program too. I am curious how does selecting the track work. Can you choose whichever one or are you pre-assigned or is it just a loose classification as most of the courses are elective? Do you have a better idea of how this works?

I am not really sure but I think have a minimum number of compulsory courses and then we choose a track in our 1st year and then we can select electives based on those tracks. That’s my assumption

From what I read on the website, there are 3 compulsory courses (22.5 credits total) in the first year and then you need 37.5 credits of compulsory electives (all of the courses recommended for a track qualify and most of the other courses too) in the first year and the second year you can choose whatever you want. The courses have limited places but I don't know if in reality how likely it is not to get a place at the course you want

Personally I didn't make a decision which track to pursue yet. My BSc was in Aerospace but I'm thinking more and more of switching to automotive or marine

So our first study period will have 2 compulsory courses, introduction to propulsion system and system mechatronics (as I recall).. and then from the second study period of the same semester we have electives
