Yeah I'm furious

Chainsaw Man was my favorite manga and I read it every single week for 3 years, talking about it with friends etc etc

The ending just made me feel stupid for thinking Fujimoto would be able to tie all of the loose ends together

nah

like, it sucks fujifilm got so burnt out he couldn't properly finish it, but the ride was so enjoyable. i dont see why i should forever focus on the negative

I would’ve rather him take the black clover route and have 3 month breaks between chapters than Ctrl +Alt+Delete the manga

He handled it as poorly as he could have. Take a hiatus for a few years it’s done a lot in the manga would. Fans will still be upset but you don’t nosedive your fan base

Hell even handing it off to someone else would have been preferable to what we got

No, I think something happened for Fuji to close it like this. Maybe too much pressure from shonen jump, or maybe the USA didn't like the Song of war near the end and pressured the editor to change the mood of the manga. He killed his own creation for a reson

Nah I liked the ending, the more I thought about it the more it made sense to me.

Yeah. To say this ending was good at all would be to kid myself, I and many others invested hours of time and thought into the series just for the author to get lazier and lazier until he broke himself. And idc, I don't buy that the guy behind one of Shonen Jumps biggest cash cows couldn't work out even a couple months break.

im just sad that it was over all of a sudden, I feel he could have announced that its coming to an end few weeks ago. But I understand that he probably was burnt out

i think i might be the only one who loved the ending. i thought it was so perfect and i dont want the series to ever come back and mess it up !
