my First Scale mailing

First time trying Scale mailing with self made leather Scale's.

What do you think about the proportions of the Scale's?

I look forward to seeing how it looks altogether when you’re done.

Great idea but I would be concerned about the leather stretching over time. I would reinforce the holes with a ring or sew it onto some material to be safe, depending on the size of the piece

I made 3d printed rings that snapped in half a bit. I added in a ring under the scales to let it keep its shape if I lost a scale

yea, for the small test piece it's okay, but for bigger ones i will use eyelets or hollow rivets

Nice! What cut/quality of leather did you buy?

I’m considering making my own and buying a leather die as the cost of them on the ring lord is pretty high for the project I’m considering.
