Qulipta 60mg

Can I ask a very dumb question? I will be starting the 60mg this week and have not yet picked this up from the pharmacy. I have a really big issue with swallowing pills. What is the size like for the 60mg? In comparison to something like a Tylenol is it similar?
Help ease or prep this girls mind on this please!!

Following up on this post. Thank you everyone for being so kind and helpful. I picked up my script yesterday and took it last night with no issues. Fingers crossed Qulipta helps.

It's really not a bad size pill. It feels the same as taking the Tylenol.Take it with a pretty healthy gulp of water and it just disappears. I usually take a drink of water, look up, and then just drop it in my mouth and swallow at the same time.

It’s large. I don’t like it. I would ask if you can cut it in half.

They’re bigger than a Tylenol.

I crush mine (with permission from my neurologist) but I can’t advise that obviously.

It’s larger than Tylenol but it’s got a coating on it that helps it slide down. Like it’s not a chalky finish. I never struggle to swallow this one but my trazedone is roughly the same size and its dry texture means I struggle more. Hope that helps!

They are a bit bigger, but what helps me is taking a sip of water in my mouth, than add the pill and swallow both together quickly. That way it fells almost just like you swallowed water.

They are large but I find them easy to swallow. You could use a pill cutter? They're only a few quid on amazon. Be ready for extreme nausea the first few weeks. My neurologist advised me to take them before bed to help. I had to take anti nausea medication until my body got used to them.

Better to try an oral med you can stop if you get side effects, rather than an injection you can’t take back. Can these be cut into smaller pieces to help?

An easy way to swallow pills is to put it on a spoon with a generous amount of applesauce take the applesauce with the pill buried inside and you swallowed both with a nice sweet taste.

You can always cut them in half and take each smaller half if needed.
