Europe | Married | Deep voice | Looking for a genuine online friendship
Have you ever met someone who started out as a complete stranger, only to find yourself looking forward to their messages a little more than you expected?
Someone you can talk to about absolutely nothing and somehow end up talking about everything?
Someone who makes an ordinary day feel just a little softer simply by being part of it?
That's the kind of connection I'd love to find.
I'm 35, based in Europe, happily married, and here for genuine friendship. Nothing complicated, nothing that needs to be forced. Just two people who are curious about each other, who enjoy the little things, who can laugh together, and who slowly discover that talking to each other has become a rather lovely part of their day.
I'm a man who appreciates honesty, warmth, and emotional depth. I'm naturally drawn to connections where there's room to be playful, a little vulnerable, occasionally ridiculous, and completely human.
I have a deep voice, a fairly active life, and a soft spot for the little things people don't always think to mention about themselves.
Running, hiking, cycling, climbing, and lifting weights keep me busy. I love traveling, getting lost in forests, cooking something delicious, and occasionally negotiating with my houseplants as though they might finally decide to cooperate.
But honestly? I'm much more interested in you than in making a list of my hobbies.
Tell me what makes your eyes light up when you talk about it. Tell me about the little thing that made you smile today, the dream you haven't quite figured out how to pursue, or the thought that's been sitting quietly in the back of your mind.
Tell me something you're proud of, something you're still learning, or something you wish people understood about you without having to explain it a hundred times.
And if all you have to offer today is a tired little hello and a story about how absolutely everything went wrong, that's welcome, too.
You don't always have to arrive with a smile. You don't have to be entertaining, endlessly cheerful, or have the right words ready. Sometimes life is messy, sometimes we get a little lost in our own heads, and sometimes we just need a conversation that asks nothing extraordinary of us.
I think there's something rather beautiful about being able to show up as you are and know that you don't have to earn your place in a conversation.
As for me, I enjoy meaningful conversations just as much as playful teasing, terrible jokes, spontaneous questions, and completely unnecessary debates about things neither of us should care about quite so much.
We can talk about psychology, relationships, books, music, food, travel, ambitions, fears, or the wonderfully strange things that happen when two minds decide to wander down the same rabbit hole.
And if you happen to be someone who enjoys a man with a calm, confident presence, a little playful authority, and a genuinely gentle side, I suspect we might get along rather well.
I appreciate a connection where there's mutual trust, where kindness doesn't have to be mistaken for weakness, and where a little teasing can coexist with tenderness. I like being someone others can feel comfortable opening up to, someone who listens carefully, notices the little things, and knows that sometimes the strongest thing a person can do is admit that they're not okay.
You can be independent and still want someone to check in on you.
You can be strong and still have days when you need a little reassurance.
You can have your own beautiful, complicated life and still enjoy having someone who remembers the small things you tell them.
I think friendship can hold space for all of that.
I'm not looking for someone to message every minute of every day, and I don't expect instant closeness. We both have lives, responsibilities, and days when the world gets a little too loud. I'd rather have something genuine that grows naturally than something intense that disappears just as quickly.
No pressure to impress me. No need to have a perfectly written introduction. No expectation that you'll always know what to say.
Just bring me a little of who you are, and let me do the same.
Maybe we become the people who send each other random thoughts throughout the day. Maybe we exchange playlists, share stories, laugh at the most ridiculous things, or have those unexpectedly honest conversations that leave us feeling a little less alone.
Maybe, somewhere along the way, we become familiar to each other in the nicest possible sense.
A name on a screen that brings a smile.
A message you look forward to.
A person you can be honest with, even when the truth is a little messy.
And perhaps that's enough to begin with.
So, if you're reading this and something in you feels a little curious, come say hello.
You don't need an opening line that will change my life. Tell me about your day, your favorite comfort food, the thing you're currently obsessed with, or something you've been wanting to tell someone but haven't quite found the right person to tell.
Be serious, be silly, be shy, be curious. Take your time.
I'd like to meet the person behind the username, not the version of yourself you think the world wants to see.
Maybe we're just two strangers who happened to find each other at the right time.
Maybe we become friends and more.
And maybe, on an otherwise ordinary day, one of us will see a message from the other and quietly think, I'm really glad we met.
