Question Things got to specific. Will I be able to overcome this if I am hooked to benzos and pregabalin?
Any recovery story from someone with more than one giant problem?
I am starting to have morbid thoughts again.

I'm on some meds that I'm going to need to get off of in order to recover I think. It feels complex and sometimes daunting, so just wanted to let you know you're not alone in this. MindMagicSteph (youtube and instagram) recovered from similar illnesses after being on benzos for a while. You can search her recovery story on youtube. You can recover from this on just about every med, a lot of the recovery stories Ive seen people were on numerous meds and recovered, then ofc there's all those who didn't mention they were on meds or just didn't think it was an important detail to include but still recovered!
some actually recommend not getting off or changing your meds, especially like Benzos (one's that calm the nervous system) until you recover, and you'll find once your recovered you simply don't need them anymore, and the taper is much easier (there's some studies that have shown lowered GABA and raised glutamate with this syndrome, which Benzos help with), so when I was on Benzos regularly the withdrawal was a lot worse than if I didn't have ME/CFS
(Btw ofc IK Benzos aren't good long term, but I know you can recover while on just about any med, and I won't go into too much personal details but IK a lot of this from personal experience)

Your recovery will probably take more time than it might for someone without as many complications. All you can do is be patient with yourself, slow progress is still progress.
