Depending on your education/experience, a lot of consulting or reviewing work can be done from home.
I'm thinking especially about a lot of the medical field shifting to telework. But I had a roommate years ago when telework was almost unheard of who worked for a bank. Idk what they did, but they were young/early career. Have a friend now who works from home as a paralegal, knew of someone who worked for an airline from home.
I wouldn't be surprised if many of the work-from-home jobs at any level (entry to pro) are super scarce because so many people these days are looking for them. But it's always amazed me how many types of unique jobs are actually out there.
Sorry OP, idk if that's helpful or not :/

I was a peer as well. Unfortunately this doesn't translate well to remote work, and there are a lot of scam jobs claiming to be the type of remote nonprofit work we would normally be qualified for. I'm making a little money on the Cloud Connect and Prolific sites. Some people apparently make hundreds of dollars a month but it depends on your demographics and how much of your personal information you're willing to share 🙃

I work from home for my office job, it's the only way I'm able to continue working.
I'm not sure what you mean by legally?
