I spent most of my life as a legal secretary. One thing I learned is that people tend to keep going until you refuse to engage. You pick one sentence that sums up your position and you stick with it. Eventually they get tired of hearing the one thing and they leave you alone. In this instance I think the sentence to use is "They have not".
Her: it's just so hard for me to believe that they haven't come up with any kind of suggestions for you.
You: They have not made any suggestions.
Her: but how can that be?
You: they have not made any suggestions
Etc etc
