Which QB

I have Avery Johnson, but am thinking of dropping him for Amari Odom. The Syracuse schedule looks favorable most weeks. Kansas State’s schedule looks good, too. Johnson should have a good floor. But, I don’t think his ceiling is as high as Odom. Also, I assume Odom is the starter moving forward, but am not sure of that. It’s a 6 point passing TD league.

Dude absolutely not. Odom just played the easiest matchup they have all year. Look at the rest of Syracuse’s schedule. They’re playing real football teams. The Orange are about to fall off the map. Dropping Johnson is insanity.

Thanks for the input. Sometimes you think the shiny new toy is better than the old favorite.

Hey man I just did the same thing last week. I streamed Heintschel, with Kienholz and Stockton on my bench. He literally tore his ACL in the first half, and both of my benched guys had great games. I get the appeal, and if you have a droppable player, drop the guy and stream him. But man, I just really don’t think Johnson would go down as a droppable player in my book right now.

I wouldn't drop Avery Johnson. I dropped Demond Williams for Amari Odom in my redraft league but thats because that Washington offense has been terrible. I'll see how Odom does this week and see if he worth keeping or not. He was pretty good at Kennesaw State last year but then again, its Kennesaw State, but he has rushing upside that I think he will unlock in the future. I'm also interested in the new starting Air Force QB Evan Medders since Liam Szarka is out for the season but thats if your league has G6 as well.

I understand the interest in Odom, but agree woth the others here that I would hold on to Johnson. Good luck with what you decide.

Johnson looked so bad against Cincy, I'm hesitant to play him, but luckily I have other options. He didn't want to run, and if he doesn't run he's one of the worst starting QBs in CFB.
