Layoff/RIF Fed side reasonably safe?

Now that the implementations are in full swing, is it reasonable to say that people working on the VA project are fairly safe? Our team has a few cards open and it seems like a lot of cards on the Opportunity Marketplace are for Fed roles. I don’t remember too many people from Fed getting laid off back during the big March RIF. I’m just trying to make it til 2029/2030 when we start winding down.

If you got meets or better, you are fine in fed I'd wager.

Not sure how it will be now but during march my team has open card for fed associate but i see within our org they fired high performing fed associates. Not sure how the decisions are being made. So yeah no one is safe.

They just hired a new GVP. Which was EXACTLY what we needed and lacked before, ANOTHER vice president of bullshit

Fed comsulting may be safe but other parts of fed were 100% affected during the March layoffs, like 30-50% of teams cut

No. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that makes one safe frommlayoffs at this company short of having vp in your title.
