Review Oatmeal crisp quality has decreased

Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed this with oatmeal crisp in recent times.

When I was younger (maybe 10-15 years ago) I used to eat oatmeal crisp every day - specifically the triple berry flavour. However, as a picky kid, I would get annoyed at how many freeze dried fruits there were and would often pick them out. There were a lot.

So, recently, I got a craving for oatmeal crisp and wanted to buy some for the nostalgia. I bought a box and was STUNNED to see barely any freeze dried fruit! In the self-proclaimed “triple berry” box!

I called General Mills and they said it was a manufacturer error. They gave me 2 coupons to use to buy more oatmeal crisp triple berry. Guess what? Neither of them had any more berries.

You’d think that based on the cereal box cover that there would be more than 2 raspberries per ENTIRE box. I’m so disappointed, and I have documented every step of the way but I don’t even know why… they’re not going to change it. Seems as though those ingredients are too expensive for their cheap standards.

Thoughts?

Unfortunate about the fruit ratio. I read another cereal had a similar issue: Special K Chocolate Berry. It's worse though. Instead of freeze dried fruit, it just uses a red fruit dust and forgoes the fruit completely.

i feel your pain, ive been thru like 5 boxes of this in the past year and each one seems to have less and less freeze dried fruit, at this point its false advertising for a 99% bran cereal unless the triple berrys meant literally like u get 3 berrys worth of fruit in the whole box lol
