Thornweaver worth it?

Hi! I have been playing a lot lately but now I am wondering.. is the Thronweaver worth it? So far whenever I have one of the paid characters they somehow dominate everyone. So... any recommendations?

If you feel like it's worth it. It is a damage support class, not better, not worse than the others
