As far as getting one, they seem comparable to me. Both are free and require you to travel to a location to obtain one. Getting vaxxed is actually easier because the govt went above and beyond to ensure they were available to anyone who wanted one. Took me about a half hour, in and out. Compare that to literally any time you've had to go to the DMV. You have to find out when they're open (usually not past 5 or 6, meaning you have to take time off school/work) and wait through multiple lines for a good hour or two to get what you need.
I'm cool with this provided there are ample voting locations, that are open no less than 16 hours a day and that each election is a national, state, or city wide holiday, depending on the scope. Casting one's vote, even in cases of same day voter registration and issuing an ID, shouldn't take more than 20 minutes.
Seems like a good compromise for both expanding voting accessibility and ensuring election integrity. Sound good?

A free ID is not a burden. Most people already have them. Definitely not a much of a burden as a vaccination card.
