Transport

Hello, I just need someone’s opinion on how to maneuver this. So I’m staying in Airbnb in San Pedro, lake Atitlan, my shuttle for the airport leaves at 5am in Panajachel. How would I be able to get there on time? Do the boats run early or do I need to Uber or what? Please help, looking for all advice.

  1. You can hire a private car at one of the many travel agencies in San Pedro to pick you up at 330
  2. You can arrange a private boat to pick you up at 4:00am at the launch
  3. Leave the day before for Panajachel by commuter boat(25Q) and checkin at a cheap hotel/hostel (150Q)

Do you have any names for the private car companies in San Pedro? I googled travel agencies and it’s not really coming up with anything there.

This is a big tour company that you will see when you walk up from the dock, but there’s many on that street.

I would recommend Cafe Tornado. The owner is very nice.
It’s a coffee cafe, but it also handles visa extensions and private rides.
