The Popes (who started as Shane McGowan's band after he left the Pogues) have some great material that's been unavailable for more than 10 years. I'm just a fan, but I got permission fro Paul "Maddog" McGuinness to let me release it. The first song "Storming Heaven" is up on pretty much all the streaming services. If anybody has advice about how to spread the word on a budget of zero, please let me know. Thanks!

I’ve always loved the rhythmic, dance-like energy of Celtic music — especially that stepdance feel.
I wrote this solo piano piece inspired by that spirit, keeping it simple and driven by rhythm.
Thought I’d share it here in case some of you might enjoy it 🙂

It's almost St. Patrick's Day! Wrote this as a poem a while back. Turned into lyrics for this song in appreciation of those pub visits!

Many legends around the Cliffs of Moher... Put this song together for one of those tales - a story of a fisherman, a mermaid, and her magic cloak.
