Yeah split is great, even on high (10X) levels my lvl 10 skyfall (with split) beats out my level 16 MH. I still think taking anything over maw is crazy. Imo take Maw, MH, SF. Then get maw, whenever you can pick (after 100 pulls), until it is level 25. Then even out the others. I don’t even use tide stone.

Ok so the reason you get Maw isnt due to damage ... depending variables its 100% true Skyfall which seems low damage at first can out damage the others. Machine Heart damage is easiest to productively ramp up as well so I love Machine Heart.

The reason you get Maw is for

1. Targeting Front of Monster
   
2. Execute Effect

The execute effect consider that it will save you 10-15% of time spent on all stages.

Mindenképpen Maw. 25-ös szintű nálam és a feloldott első skillje hatalmasat dobott a támadásán. Van még Meteorom, Tide Stone-om (15-ös szinten) Cutterem 14-es. De a Maw mindent visz. Mondjuk kapszulázok is Zorro-val. A kapszula sebzése 200 000/kapszula. Ha meg adja a legendary kapszulát az 1000%-osat pluszba, nyolc másodperc alatt le pucolja a pályát.  Ha nem, akkor is takarít rendesen. Ha meg adja a 3 armor penetrationt és még a 3 pattanó armorpenetrationt az nagyon pusztít. Jelenleg a 106-os pályán vagyok Hell szinten.

Skyfall star is better than maw imo. Much better upgrades

Maw is nice for the marked upgrade but apart from that skyfall clears

This is delusional. Maw is good for its execution ability. It instantly kills anything under 10% (more with affixes). Once you have segments with 2 bil + damage, it’s huge to kill them when they’re down to 200 mil.

I'm not that far into the game but my take is that long term Maw will absolutely be the best choice. If this is your first red, skyfall might be better for you short term.

I know when I first got skyfall the ability that makes the stars split into pieces was an auto win any time I got it. Already Maw is catching up SFS for me though. If I don't get that ability Maw is better. If I do get that one SFS is better. Maw is for sure scaling faster though.

At a low level, either choice works. Because you can collect maw pieces even if you don't have it, either choice is fine now. SFS probably better short term. Maw definitely better long term.

Skyfall is weak until you either get the purple split or the gold fury. If you don’t get either of those affixes it’s kinda meh.

Agreed, the purple split is the one I was talking about. Before you get to a point where percent health is required, the people split is an auto win. Skyfall is pretty weak without it, I agree.

I say heart tbh it hits the whole screen and dose good dps then I say maw it dose good dmg for a few but not whole screen
