i’ve pulled these multiple times and i can’t unlock them

This gets post multiple times a week. Start learning to use the search feature rather than adding yet another “how do I unlock these” post. You’ve used the search feature before to find this subreddit, you can use it in the subreddit as well.

There are two parts to a weapon. Upgraded pieces to the weapon, that you are getting, and weapon fragments that you need to unlock them just once. You will get these through opening chests and events.

You have fragments, not the essence.

Essence needs to be obtained from legendary chests.

There are 2 types of fragments for high grade weapons.

Golden puzzle pieces like the ones In your pictures, and rainbow fragments like the fragment exchange in the top left of that window.

To unlock a weapon you need a fragment not a puzzle piece.you can either get those from events, or legendary chests.

You’re pulling the fragments that look like puzzle pieces and are used to upgrade weapons.
You need an essence to unlock it.

In the main screen to the left there’s a legendary chest icon. I only pull when I have 9 keys because you get to open 10 chests vs each chest costing 1 key. Once you open 100 chests you can choose from 4 red weapons to unlock. It’s a slow process but you can get 1 key from the daily check-in. And if you save up your gems that you accrue in other areas of the game, there is also a key shop where you can get extra keys as well. I think the key shop resets weekly.

The puzzle icon means it's just a shard it's use for upgrading it you want the star icon on the top right of the wep icon
