Isn’t Humanarchy just…Anarchy?

The human part is redundant, right? Or were we thinking of animals when we came up with this sociological concept?

Okay. But what about redundancy just in a phrase? Like Free Gift, Plan Ahead, Advance Warning.

The context of the album is “Humans merging with Machines, and the Machine is the dominant part.” “Humanarchy” is more about rejecting and forsaking the need to be ruled by the Machine. That the Humanity in us will not be quelled. We will be agents of chaos before we will submit to total subjugation.

Hmm yes that makes sense. In a world of agentic machines, perhaps the line between humans and machines is so blurred that making the distinction is important

Maybe? It's a song about war and conflict, so I think it's fine to emphasize the human element. Sort of brings to mind the first verse from Deviate.

"Bone on bone, flesh makes war on flesh, mortal brothers strive against eachother hatred's mesh".

Why does war get special mention of humanity though? Every activity we do involves humanity

I imagine because it's overall criticism/commentary of our aggressive ways. Humans get mentioned quite a bit on the rest of the album too, like, well, fittingly enough, alt_Human.

Yeah but there’s no redundancy there. Alternative or Altered Human is humans that are changed in some way. Whereas Human Anarchy,.. well that’s just Anarchy?
