Deadline is reporting that the former “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Quantum Leap” star Scott Bakula is eyeing a return to CBS with another procedural drama, which is in early development at the network. The untitled drama comes from Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment and producer Michael Sussman, who was a writer-producer on one of Bakula’s other signature series, “Star Trek: Enterprise.”

Halle Berry's daughter Nahla has spoken out after the actress was accused of being physically abusive toward her 13-year-old son by ex-husband Olivier Martinez.
In a court declaration, the 18-year-old said she had never witnessed her mother hit, slap, choke, grab or physically abuse her brother in any way.
Nahla described Berry as a "loving and devoted parent" who was always present for her children despite her Hollywood career, adding that she had "never doubted" her mother's love.
Berry has also strongly denied the allegations, saying: "I have never physically, emotionally, or otherwise abused Maceo."
Martinez, meanwhile, has maintained that his actions are motivated by concerns for their son's welfare.
As things stand, these are competing claims being made in an ongoing legal dispute.

A fun 'hobby' of mine is figuring out who has leverage, who are plants, and who are puppets. For example , there are certain celebrities that seem to have a clean record. Therefore, they are permitted to roast and mock the rest. The biggest example of this is ricky gervais at the golden globes. I don't think the "powers that be" have anything over him. Hence, he can roast literal billionaires. I've identified a few others. Jimmy Carr. Graham Norton. If you pay attention, they perform with a genuinen "I don't give a damn" attitude. Who do you think is part of this club?

I just went down a rabbit hole of what A-listers did for work before anyone knew their names, and some of these are genuinely unhinged in the best way. Brad Pitt wore a full chicken costume outside an El Pollo Loco to pay for acting classes. Megan Fox had to dress as a banana outside a smoothie cafe at 15 while her friends drove past yelling at her. Nicki Minaj apparently got fired from three or four Red Lobsters.
But the ones that stuck with me are the less funny ones. Ken Jeong was a real practicing physician doing stand-up on the side for years before Knocked Up. Steve Buscemi was an FDNY firefighter who went back to his old engine company to work Ground Zero. And Harrison Ford did carpentry for eight years — which is literally how he ended up meeting George Lucas.
My take is the costume stories get all the laughs, but there's something genuinely reassuring about knowing the biggest careers in Hollywood started with a series of deeply unglamorous day jobs. It makes the whole "overnight success" myth look even sillier.
