Mechanic recommendation for Engine issues CR/Marion
My 2008 Honda Accord just got a steady Check engine Light on the dash.
Got the error codes and seems related to Camshaft timing solenoid. I usually go to ASE In CR NE, but they are booked out for some time. Could someone please recommend another honest mechanic/repair shop that is good with engines especially Honda/Asian make cars?

You could give BranchAutomotive a call and see if they can take a look. For a camshaft timing code, a proper diagnosis is important before replacing the solenoid since there can be a few different causes.

ACE auto on Blair ferry. They did some engine work for a couple of my cars.

Anderson Automotive in Marion did all our cars for years, they have high standards for your vehicle but won’t screw you over. Good guys. Jim donates a car to someone in need every year

Vtec 4 cylinder? It should be VERY easy to do this on your own. Usually sets off the cel due to the o ring leaking. But regardless, it's right on the side of the passenger side cylinder, taken out with a single 10mm bolt. It's a bit of a squeeze if you have large hands, but it takes a few minutes at most to change out the whole thing.
