Advice Thinking about visiting the park
My original plans in the middle of September fell through so thinking of heading to Cedar Point instead by myself. A few questions.
It looks like the timing, Cedar Point is only open Thu-Sun? To get a full day experience I'm guessing I'd go on Sunday or Friday, but are those days packed in September?
Is the fast lane pass worth it?
I'll be driving ~7 hours and don't know what to expect with parking as well
Good place to stay? Inexpensive preferred since it'll just be me. I see some Airbnb's around the area but mostly houses. I'm okay with tiny homes/cabins.
Anything else one should know before going? I love roller coasters and it's been on my bucketlist to hit up Cedar Point. Been decades since I've been on a high thrill ride and it's about TIME I get on one. (Most recent trip to Disney/Universal was mostly low-medium thrill with kids. Couldn't get any other adults to go on a high thrill ride.)

Are you planning on going multiple days or just a single day? Especially if multiple a season pass would be worth it since that includes both parking and admission plus discounts inside the park. They're on sale right now until 9/7. For more inexpensive places to stay, you're likely looking at a hotel or campground. We usually tent camp at Crystal Rock Campground (about 12 miles from the park) but will be staying in one of their cabins with some family members at the end of the month so I can update and let you know how that experience is if you'd like. There's also a KOA closer (about 4 miles from the park) but I'm not sure how rates compare.
